Here comes the Sun(flowers)

At the conclusion of a near-apocalyptic amount of recent rainfall, Kay made her way to Vermilion to set up shop at the Market in the Park. I mean, It had been raining volumes for days, but the fresh flowers were already picked and arranged. As it turned out, the rain subsided just in time for the opening bell, and the few exhibitors there were eventually blessed by the appearing of the sun and the blowing of gentle breezes.

That, and the presence of hundreds of undaunted Chevy Corvette owners, who had similarly, stubbornly committed to put their Detroit Muscle on display…made for a surprisingly brisk market this past Saturday.

Thanks a Vermilion

KaysBouKays’ presence has really blossomed at the Vermilion Market-in-the-Park for the past two Saturdays. Fresh cuttings and arrangements have been flying off the stand here in Victory Park. By the way, the Gladiolas and Sunflowers are popping, and so are the eyes of the local Vermilionites when they see these gorgeous blooms at Booth 39. We’re here most Saturdays through August. Check Kay’s Kalendar for times and location.
