Actually , we’re a month into fall and we busy ourselves with the familiar cold-weather tasking:
- recovering tubers and corms
- dismantling and storing the irrigation systems
- collecting relevant blooms for winter drying
- planning upcoming crafting activities
- preparing the fields for the next season
- still producing lovely boukays with what remains of our hearty stock
Our presence at outdoor markets has concluded for 2025, and we finished with consecutive sell-outs. Praise God! Much of our inventory has survived its first brush with Jack Frost…but the end is at hand. Still, it’s not too late to order up a Seasonal Boukay featuring dahlias and zinnias.
