The Flowers are Coming, the Flowers are Coming!

They may be coming, but it’s only because someone has been pouring her love and alfalfa tablets into dozens of rows and thousands of divots. Countless trays of seedlings, having been under the light in the Seed Shack for months, are now being planted. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now, and now we can begin the joyful anticipation of the colorful results. Pray for rain…and a bit of well-deserved rest.

Not your Grandma’s Daffodils

When I walk though the rows of daffodils, I am constantly amazed at the different types and shapes of these amazing, spring beauties. Varieties that I never saw when I was a kid. And you can enjoy the beautiful spectrum of the season’s finest daffodils as we feature them in just about all of the hand-crafted boukays that are being crafted in our Seed Shack. Many of these boukays are now appearing, for a limited time, on the BouKart during the Easter Weekend.

That’s the tall and short of it!

Of Course It’s Snowing…

…it’s March. And, why not? We’ve just lived through the wettest and windiest Winter in quite some time, here in North Central Ohio. Warm enough, also, to bring those daffs and tulips right out for a peek. Then…the 2nd substantial snowfall of the season. We were so happy with our our new hoops…and so were the 4 inches of snow the other day. Not to worry, this is just the preseason.
